Students who come to tutoring will receive help in the subject matter, but may or may not be tutored by their classroom.  They will receive help from the teacher who is tutoring that day.  Whoever is tutoring will cover the same topics and will be able to answer any questions the student might have.

All students wanting to attend study hall will go to either the media room or an empty prep room and work silently while they are in the room.  The purpose of the study hall is to give the students a quiet place to get their homework done or spend time studying.  There will be no talking or disruption and if students in study hall become a disturbance they will be asked to leave and their parents/guardians will need to come and pick them up.

Study Skills Workshop

Trivium Prep teachers are offering to tutor your student in the most effective study skills methods and tactics. This workshop begins on Oct 20^th and continues through Nov 17^th and will be held on two Saturdays and four Tuesdays after school. It will cover the following topics:

• How to organize effectively
• How to get the most from note taking
• What is the best way to read and comprehend
• How to get the most from class time
• How to make the best use of study time
